A head start for your art!
Purple and Grey held an enjoyable networking event at West studios part of Chesterfield Art College this week and it was well attended. These events are for artists to get together and chat about their projects and swap ideas. We were joined by Patrica O'brien and Charlotte Higgins from For The Love of Bird who had their wonderful paintings / Lino prints on display and it was really nice to meet them and see their work.
An added bonus of actual networking face to face rather than just via social media is the opportunities that are available an example of this came about today when Purple aka Karina was introduced to Peter Swailes ceramics and Sarah Pasley Silversmith & Jeweller.
Karina has been calling out for new 3D work for her gallery and being able to meet new designers and see their studios and quality of work has been worthwhile.
You will see their items soon on our sister page SCENE at 61.

Also information leaflets available about future opportunities, through purple and grey , for improving skills and professional advancement. Altogether a useful morning.
