We have suspended our art group and services due to Covid19. Please sign up to Mailing List for developments.
We are Purple and Grey. Karina Goodman & Ruth Gray, two practising artists from Derbyshire. We love our art careers and we understand how daunting it can be sometimes running a creative business by yourself.
We often found ourselves being asked for advice on many topics from social media to how to get in a gallery. So we formalised our knowledge and since 2015 have been helping artists and makers get 'a head start for their art' We have helped art organisations with their social media strategies, professional artists overhaul their business and those looking at having a creative business as a second career but don't quite know where to start please sign up to our Mailing List to keep up to date. Our main focus forward is our art group which is the official SAA Derbyshire Regional Art Group. We'd love for you to join us. purple and grey xx |

Purple and Grey strongly believe in bringing city style opportunities to the Derbyshire countryside we can provide the much-needed information to rural artists in our county.
Based in and around Belper and Matlock we are perfectly based to reach out to all corners of the county.
Being a rural artist means it is often a challenge to visit exhibitions or meet new people or to assess the kind of opportunities that a city like Manchester or Nottingham can offer.
To be frank we are rural artists ourselves and love being based in the beautiful surrounds of the Peak District and love exploring the possibilities that it can offer an artist.
We actively invite those of you who are more urban based to join in with our activities and enjoy being away from it all in this most beautiful part of the world.
It is a key point of difference that we can offer you the chance to #network #learn and #create in the countryside.
